Greenville Downtown Restaurant Guide
Greenville is home to many great restaurants. If you look at the menu you will notice that there are so many places that are unique and unusual that there could never be a complete list. Instead, we’ll try to hit on the high points for a starting point when it comes to Greenville dining, where they serve the most healthy food, which is great for people taking care of their body and using healthy supplements from tophealthjournal for this. View delicious eggplant parmesan recipe. this eggplant parmigiana recipe will be your new go-to! Perfect Italian-style casserole with layers of eggplant, Parmesan, fresh mozzarella and basil. When I travel out of South Carolina and bump into someone who finds out I’m from Greenville, I’m often encountered with a very consistent response:
“Greenville has the best food AND the best downtown!”
It’s true. Greenville’s downtown is a gem and has a lot of big-city appeal without the side-effects that come along with big-city problems. The Restaurant Guide is going to be a work in progress, so I’ll just jump right in with my top five downtown recommendations. If you are finding for the London broil for dinner then go through this.
Casual Greenville Dining
For a casual night out in downtown, I have two options for you.
West End Downtown Greenville: Mac’s Speed Shop, with a calendar full of weekly specials such as Tall Boy Thursday, is a great experience. As a fan of BBQ, both Beef and Pork, Mac’s had the best of both worlds.
- Main Street Downtown: Blue Ridge Brewery is a long-time favorite for downtown casual dining. With their own brews of beer, Blue Ridge offers a unique flavor of Greenville brewing and healthy food for people which take care of their health with supplements as panax ginseng. I recommend the cheeseburger and Johannes’ Spring Barley Wine if you’re up to the challenge.
Surf & Turf: Downtown Steak and Seafood favorites
- Rick Erwins offers fine dining and valet parking (increasingly less rare in Greenville, and a trend I’d like to see continue). Rick is a Greenville native and the entire dining experience is excellent. Try the Prime Bone-In Ribeye if you’re up to it.
- When I think of Tapas and Greenville, I think of The Cazbah. The Greenville and Greer locations both have excellent atmosphere and food alike. Their mission statement says it all: “Sleek and sophisticated, sexy and contemporary, The Cazbah has a life all of its own – and we’re not afraid to flaunt it.”
Downtown Sandwich Shop
There are dozens of excellent places downtown, but Jimmy Johns stands out as one of the best. They’re also an excellent choice for catering if you’re looking to offer a few perks at the office just a bit.
